1. Recipient and donation methods
The recipient is the Ukrainian legal entity БЛАГОДІЙНА ОРГАНІЗАЦІЯ «МІЖНАРОДНИЙ БЛАГОДІЙНИЙ ФОНД «ГОРИЗОНТ ДІЙ»», EDRPOU 46238820, official English name INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE FOUNDATION “ACTION HORIZON”. You can donate in two ways:
- Bank transfer using the Foundation’s official account details.
- Online card payment on the secure page of the WayForPay payment service — one-off or recurring (section 6).
Online card payment on the website is provided by the WayForPay payment service — the Ukrainian financial company ТОВ ФК «ВЕЙ ФОР ПЕЙ», EDRPOU 39626179, which provides money transfers without opening an account under National Bank of Ukraine licence No. 21/1064‑рк dated 8 June 2023. Online payment is available when the donation page shows a payment button. Until online payment is enabled, the donation page shows the bank details for a transfer.
Bank transfer
Details supplied by the Foundation:
- bank: Joint Stock Company “First Ukrainian International Bank” (FUIB / PUMB), bank code 334851;
- IBAN: UA723348510000000026005373491;
- account currency: Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH).
The account details are listed above and under Reporting. For general charitable activities, use “Charitable donation for Charter activities”; for a campaign, use its published purpose and code. The Foundation currently has one UAH account at PUMB; check the recipient and purpose before payment.
Online card payment through WayForPay
On the website, choose a campaign or support for the Foundation’s general activities, the amount and frequency, tick your acceptance of the Public offer and continue to the WayForPay payment page on the wayforpay.com domain. Check the recipient, amount and currency there before entering your card details. The designation of an online donation is the campaign or area chosen on the website.
On the payment page, WayForPay accepts Visa and Mastercard cards. Other methods, including Apple Pay or Google Pay, can be used only if they appear on the payment page: the payment page shows the available methods, and they depend on the service settings, your device and your bank.
You enter card details on WayForPay’s page, and the service processes them. The Foundation does not receive or store full card numbers, CVV / CVC, PINs or online-banking credentials. For accounting and reconciliation, the Foundation receives transaction information from WayForPay: the order number, amount, currency, status, date, payment method and a masked card number (see the Privacy policy). WayForPay provides the payment service to the payer under its public agreement for payers (opens in a new tab).
Delivery and provision of services
The Foundation does not sell goods or provide paid services through this website; no goods are delivered to the donor. A donation is a transfer of funds for charitable purposes without payment in return. Your bank confirms a bank transfer; WayForPay confirms an online payment (receipt). The Foundation reports on the use of funds under the Fundraising rules.
The Foundation does not sell goods or provide commercial services through this website, including to residents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. The website supports the Foundation’s charitable activities in Ukraine. Online donations are accepted subject to payment-service restrictions and applicable law: WayForPay does not accept payments from the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus, including with cards issued in those countries.
2. Amount, currency and fees
You choose the amount voluntarily. The website shows the form’s minimum and maximum amounts before you complete it. This is a technical interface limit, rather than a universal donation minimum. Your bank or the payment service may have its own limits. Direct IBAN transfers follow your bank's rules and do not require completing the website amount field.
Online payments are made in hryvnia. If your card was issued abroad or its account is in another currency, the amount is charged in hryvnia with conversion; the card-issuing bank sets the exchange rate and any conversion fees.
When paying online, you pay the donation amount you chose. The WayForPay fee is deducted from the funds the service pays out to the Foundation: the service’s published standard rate is 2% of a successful payment, and the Foundation’s rate is set by its agreement with WayForPay. Your bank may charge separately for its own services. The Foundation records payment fees in its accounts and reports.
Your bank, an intermediary or payment provider may charge fees or apply its exchange rate. Check with the bank before sending money in a currency different from the account currency. For a transfer from abroad, the sending bank or service must support a UAH payout to a Ukrainian legal entity's account; check conversion terms and fees before sending. An IBAN alone does not confirm every international payment route. The Foundation receives funds in the UAH account listed above.
3. Donation confirmation
Your bank’s confirmation is evidence of a completed bank transfer. After an online payment, WayForPay sends a receipt to the email address given during payment — after both successful and unsuccessful payments; the receipt shows the amount, payment method and payment number. The receipt confirms that the service processed the payment; the Foundation verifies receipt of funds through its records. Clicking, opening a payment page, returning to the website or a counter change alone does not confirm a particular payment.
Keep your bank or WayForPay receipt. Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com to check receipt, providing the date, amount, currency, purpose and the transaction number from the receipt. Email is optional in the Foundation's form for a one-off donation: WayForPay sends its receipt to the address given during payment. Foundation campaign updates are a separate voluntary choice and will become available after the relevant service launches.
If an online payment status is unclear, for example “awaiting confirmation”, or the result page did not open, do not repeat the payment before checking. First check the debit in your banking app and the receipt, and email the Foundation if needed. The service may carry out additional checks on a payment; the final status then appears later.
4. Incorrect, duplicate or unauthorised payments
Tell us under section 5 if the amount or designation was incorrect or the payment was duplicated. For an unauthorised transaction, contact the bank that serves your card or account immediately under its procedures and notify the Foundation; do not wait for our reply before contacting your bank. A card payment is disputed through the payer’s bank; under WayForPay’s public agreement for payers, the period for disputing a transfer does not exceed 180 days from its initiation.
Until you confirm the payment on WayForPay’s page, you can abandon the transaction without completing it. Once the card-issuing bank has debited the funds, the payment can no longer be cancelled on the payment page; section 5 then applies.
Provide the section 3 details and briefly explain the issue. Redact unnecessary receipt details; do not send CVV, PIN, full card numbers, passwords or verification codes. We may request minimal additional information to verify the legitimate payer.
5. Refunds
When funds are returned
Under section 6.8 of the Charter, a properly made donation is not returned except where the law provides otherwise. It does not carry the ordinary return rights of purchased goods; rights under the law and designated-use breach claims remain available.
The Foundation returns funds, in particular, where:
- a mistaken or repeated payment without an intention to make that donation, or an excess amount not intended as a donation, is confirmed: the Foundation must return the amount received without a sufficient legal basis under Article 1212 of the Civil Code of Ukraine;
- a recurring online charge was made after recurring support was cancelled — through the personal link, in the WayForPay account or after the Foundation received your cancellation request (section 6).
Section 5 of the Public offer describes the rights to monitor designated use and seek termination for misuse. Such claims follow the law and do not mean an automatic refund merely because any complaint is made.
How to request a refund
Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with the subject “Refund”. Give the date, amount, currency, purpose or campaign code, the transaction number from the WayForPay or bank receipt, for a card only its last four digits, a brief description of the circumstances and a reply contact. If you ask for a recurring charge to be returned, say whether future charges should also be cancelled.
What we check and when
We check receipt, circumstances, the legitimate payer and whether the funds were already returned. This verifies the right to a return rather than making it discretionary. We review a request within 10 working days of receiving information sufficient for the check and communicate the result, the amount due and the refund method. If information is missing, we tell you within the same period.
How refunds are made
An online payment is returned through WayForPay to the same card it was paid from — in full or in the part due. A bank transfer is returned to the legitimate payer through the banking channel. We do not send a refund to an arbitrary third party or a different card without an appropriate basis.
Notice that a refund has started does not mean the funds have arrived. WayForPay and the card-issuing bank determine when a refund reaches the card; we do not replace banking timelines with an unverified promise. If the funds have not arrived after the period communicated to you, email the Foundation with the original payment number.
We do not automatically deduct a bank or payment-service fee from the amount due for return. Under WayForPay’s published rules, the service charges no additional fee for a refund. Separate payer-bank costs follow the payer’s agreement with that bank.
Returning one recurring charge does not by itself cancel future charges.
These rules do not set a universal “14-day refund” or “only before spending” condition. Restrictions cannot cancel mandatory legal rights. Separate statutory or banking procedural deadlines apply independently.
6. Regular support
Standing bank transfer
You may set up a standing transfer in your bank if supported. You control the amount, schedule, changes and cancellation through the bank; the Foundation cannot cancel your banking instruction for you.
Recurring online support through WayForPay
You can set up recurring online support when the form on the donation page offers it. It goes to the Foundation’s general Charter activities; campaigns accept one-off donations.
Setup. Choose an amount and a frequency from the options available in the form — daily, weekly or monthly — and give your email. Separately tick your authorisation of automatic charges of the chosen amount at the chosen frequency until cancelled. This box is not pre-ticked and is not replaced by accepting the offer. Example: “UAH 31 monthly” means one charge of UAH 31 once a month.
Charges. You pay the first contribution immediately on the WayForPay payment page. After the first successful payment, WayForPay keeps the schedule and automatically charges the same amount to the card used for the first contribution after each chosen period — until cancelled. The amount and frequency on the payment page match those chosen on the website. Each successful charge is a separate donation for the Foundation’s Charter activities; WayForPay sends a receipt for it.
Notices. Before each scheduled charge, WayForPay sends the payer a notice of the upcoming charge. The Foundation sends service emails to your address: a setup confirmation with a personal management link and a cancellation confirmation; the Foundation may also remind you of upcoming charges. Service emails are not a news subscription.
Failed charges. If a charge fails, for example because of insufficient funds on the card, WayForPay may retry it the next day and warn you to top up the card. A failed attempt is not a donation. Blocking or reissuing a card does not cancel the support.
Cancellation. You can cancel recurring online support at any time, without giving reasons:
- with the personal link on the thank-you page or in a Foundation service email — using the “Cancel recurring support” button; opening the link alone cancels nothing. You can request a lost link again on the donation management page;
- in your WayForPay personal account, where the recurring payment can also be paused;
- by emailing horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with the subject “Cancel recurring support”, giving the email used for setup and the date and amount of the last charge. The Foundation checks the request, stops the recurring payment through WayForPay and confirms the cancellation.
Effect of cancellation. After cancellation, future charges stop. Charges already made remain donations and are not automatically returned. A charge made after cancellation is returned to the same card under section 5. Unsubscribing from news does not cancel charges, and cancelling support does not change your separate email choices.
Changes. To change the amount or frequency, cancel the current support and set up a new one; some actions, including pausing or replacing the card, are also available in the WayForPay personal account. Before a new setup, make sure the earlier charges have stopped, so you do not end up with two supports. The Foundation does not increase the amount or change the frequency without your new authorisation.
