Donations
9 questionsDonation methods, fees, confirmation, refunds and payment enquiries.
Choose an active campaign or support the Foundation’s general activities. You can donate by bank transfer using the official account details — for a campaign, use the published payment purpose and code — or by online card payment on the secure page of the WayForPay payment service. Online payment is available when the donation page shows a payment button; until it is enabled, the page shows the bank details for a transfer. See the Payment and refund rules.
You choose the amount. The website shows the form’s minimum and maximum amounts before payment; your bank or the payment service may have its own limits. An IBAN transfer does not require completing the form; your bank’s rules apply.
Yes, you can donate for Charter activities. These funds are used within the Charter and authorised Foundation decisions without designation to one campaign. For a transfer, use “Charitable donation for Charter activities” as the payment purpose; for an online payment, choose support for the Foundation’s general activities on the website. See the Public offer.
Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with the code and the transfer or online payment details. After closure, new online contributions to the campaign are no longer offered, but a transaction already started or a bank transfer may arrive later. If you designated a purpose, closing the campaign does not make the funds automatically available for another purpose. We check the circumstances and applicable agreed, lawful use or return procedure.
For a bank transfer, your bank sets fees and conversion; check the terms before transferring. When paying online, you pay the amount you chose, and the WayForPay fee is deducted from the funds the service pays out to the Foundation: the published standard rate is 2% of a successful payment, and the Foundation’s rate is set by its agreement with the service. Your bank may charge separately or convert currency. The Foundation records payment fees in its accounts and reports.
The Foundation has one UAH account with FUIB. A transfer from abroad requires a bank or service that supports UAH payments to a Ukrainian legal entity; check availability, conversion and fees before sending. Online payment through WayForPay, once enabled, accepts Visa and Mastercard cards issued in any country except Russia and Belarus; the amount is charged in hryvnia with conversion under your bank’s rules. Contact horizontdiy.help@gmail.com for clarification.
Keep your receipt. Your bank provides the bank-transfer receipt. After an online payment, WayForPay sends a receipt to the email given during payment — after both successful and unsuccessful payments. Contact us with the date, amount, currency, purpose and transaction number to verify receipt. Clicking or returning from a payment page alone does not confirm receipt. Email is optional in the Foundation’s form for a one-off donation and required in the recurring-support form; providing it does not subscribe you to news.
If a payment fails or its status is unclear, first check the debit and status with your bank / provider. If there is no debit or pending transaction, you can try again or use the official IBAN. If funds were debited or the transaction is still pending, do not repeat the payment until its status is checked; send safe transaction details to the Foundation to verify receipt.
Under clause 6.8 of the Charter, donations are not refundable except where the law provides otherwise. We return, in particular, a mistaken or repeated payment made without an intention to donate, an excess amount and a recurring charge made after support was cancelled. Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with the subject “Refund”, the date, amount, purpose and transaction number; for a card, only its last four digits. We review requests within 10 working days of receiving sufficient information. An online payment is returned through WayForPay to the same card, a bank transfer to the legitimate payer; the service and your bank determine when the refund arrives. We do not deduct fees from the amount due. Mandatory donor rights remain available; see the Payment and refund rules.
Yes, a private-law legal entity can donate to official accounts. Arrange any separate agreement, status evidence or specific designated conditions before transferring by emailing horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. A payment-service receipt is not automatically an acceptance record or tax document. We clarify available documents and their form for your request.
Recurring donations
8 questionsRegular support: a standing bank transfer or online charges through WayForPay, notices and cancellation.
There are two ways. The first is a standing transfer in your bank, if it supports one: you set the amount and schedule with your bank, using the current account details and correct payment purpose. The second is recurring online support for the Foundation’s general activities through WayForPay, when the form on the donation page offers it: choose the amount and frequency (daily, weekly or monthly), give your email and separately tick your authorisation of automatic charges — the box is not pre-ticked. You pay the first contribution immediately on the WayForPay page, and the service then charges the same amount on schedule until cancelled. Example: UAH 31 monthly means one charge of UAH 31 a month.
You can cancel online support through WayForPay at any time: with the personal link on the thank-you page or in a Foundation service email (the “Cancel recurring support” button), in your WayForPay personal account, or by emailing horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. You can request a lost link again on the donation management page. After cancellation, future charges stop; a charge made after cancellation is returned. For a standing transfer set up in your bank, cancel in your banking app or contact your bank: we do not control your banking instruction. Do not send card details or passwords.
Change a recurring bank transfer through your bank. To change the amount or frequency of online support, cancel the current support and set up a new one; some actions, including pausing or replacing the card, are also available in the WayForPay personal account. Before a new setup, make sure the earlier charges have stopped. A payment already made is considered separately under the Payment and refund rules.
Recurring online support through the website goes to the Foundation’s general Charter activities. For a standing bank transfer, the purpose depends on each transfer’s instructions and agreed conditions. If you want to designate a programme or purpose, agree it before starting transfers.
Your bank determines failure and retry rules for standing transfers. For online support through WayForPay, the service may retry the charge the next day and warn you to top up the card. A failed attempt is not a donation. Blocking or reissuing a card does not cancel the support: to stop charges, cancel it in one of the ways described in the cancellation answer.
Public reports are available on campaign pages and under Reporting. Donating does not automatically subscribe you. Recurring-support service emails — a setup confirmation with a management link and a cancellation confirmation — and WayForPay payment notices are not a news mailing. Campaign email updates require an available service and your separate permission.
Recurring online support through the website is for the Foundation’s general Charter activities; you can make one-off contributions to a specific campaign while it is active. Standing bank transfers are not automatically linked to a campaign’s status: check before another payment and stop the instruction when fundraising ends. Charter activities are an option for ongoing support.
You pay the first contribution immediately on the WayForPay page during setup. The service then makes further charges automatically after each chosen period — daily, weekly or monthly — until cancelled. Before each scheduled charge, WayForPay sends a notice of the upcoming charge, and a receipt after the transaction. The Foundation sends service emails about setup and cancellation. If the amount or frequency is unclear, do not tick the authorisation of automatic charges. See the Payment and refund rules.
Campaigns
8 questionsPurposes, stages, purchasing and remaining funds.
A campaign must match the Charter and a verified need. We assess the purpose, scope, purchase / handover feasibility and resources. Information donors need before contributing is published on the campaign page. See the fundraising rules.
“Active” means contributions are being collected. “Fully funded” means the financial target has been reached while purchasing / handover may continue. “Aid delivered” means delivery is documented. “Report published” means a report is available. Early closure without reaching the target is explained in a separate notice and does not mean “Fully funded”. A planned date alone does not confirm all stages are complete.
We consider an extension, additional financing or reduced scope within the agreed purpose. The campaign page explains decisions; covering a shortfall is not guaranteed. A different purpose needs appropriate permission or another lawful basis.
Remaining funds are recorded and explained in the report. Designated funds do not automatically move to another campaign. Their use depends on agreed donation terms and an appropriate legal basis; see the fundraising rules.
It depends on the item, supplier, logistics and documentation. Planned dates and changes are published on the campaign page when determined. There is no single timeline for every purchase.
Read the updates, documents and report on the campaign page and in Reporting. Public evidence may be anonymised. Personal information about serving military personnel, unit numbers and deployment locations is not published. Contact the Foundation if you need clarification about the use of your donation.
For example, its target has been reached or the need has changed. Updates explain the reason. Early closure does not automatically change the purpose of funds already received.
Email a brief need description, estimated budget and contact details to horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. We check programme fit and feasibility. A proposal is not permission to fundraise in the Foundation’s name or a guarantee of approval.
Reporting and transparency
8 questionsDocuments, spending, status evidence and reporting enquiries.
The Foundation publishes a campaign report within 30 calendar days after the campaign closes. If purchasing or delivery is still ongoing, the report published within that period covers funds received, expenditure and progress; supporting documents are added after completion. This is the Foundation’s voluntary transparency commitment, not a guarantee that purchasing or delivery will finish within 30 days.
Actual administrative expenditure is determined from the Foundation’s accounts and disclosed in its reports. Clause 6.7 of the Charter limits it to 20% of annual income; that is a ceiling, not a promised actual spending percentage. See the relevant report for the figures for a particular period.
It explains receipts, spending, fees, purchasing / handover, balances and their use. Supporting evidence depends on the campaign. Public copies exclude unnecessary personal information and information that could endanger safety.
The Foundation publishes quarterly financial reports under Reporting. This is the Foundation’s voluntary transparency standard; it does not replace mandatory reporting or statutory deadlines.
An auditor’s report, where an audit was conducted, identifies the period reviewed. Check published documents or ask us about an available report and its scope.
Start with Reporting and campaign reports. Check each document’s period and date. If the information is not public, send a specific enquiry to horizontdiy.help@gmail.com.
Names and other information about donors or aid recipients are published only with prior written consent under clause 8.4 of the Charter. Your name is optional in the form; providing it in the form or on the payment page, or donating, does not authorise publication. Confidential military information is not published.
The full Ukrainian and English legal names, registration code 46238820, registered and actual addresses and bank details appear in Foundation information. The names and purposes follow the Charter approved by the founder’s decision dated 19 August 2026. Contact the Foundation for clarification.
Email the document title, period, error location and explanation to horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. We review enquiries; material public corrections carry a date and explanation. Do not include unnecessary information about others.
Getting help
8 questionsInitial enquiries, required information and checking available support.
Aid recipients and eligibility criteria are determined by the Foundation’s charitable programmes and governing decisions under clause 1.7 of the Charter. Its purposes include support for service members, veterans and their families, children, older people, people with disabilities and civilians affected by war. Send a general description of your need to check available assistance. Making a request does not itself guarantee help.
Currently, email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. In the first message, give a general need description, who is applying and a reply contact. An online form has not launched. Send sensitive documents only after agreeing the necessary information and channel.
Requirements depend on the assistance and applicant authority. First send a general description and responsible contact; we then clarify necessary documents and a safe channel. Do not include exact locations, personnel lists or other sensitive information in the initial email.
Timing depends on completeness, verification complexity and available resources. Ask us about the particular request. Explain genuine urgency, but marking a request urgent does not guarantee a deadline or approval.
The Foundation runs campaigns and provides assistance in Ukraine, currently within its community. Give a safe, general region description; do not send exact deployment locations without arrangements. Different programmes may have different conditions.
The form depends on the programme, verified need and documented decision. Describe the support you need and we will clarify available options. Applying or donating does not create a right to a payment to a particular person.
The need may fall outside programmes, verified information or resources may be insufficient, or a lawful and safe handover may be infeasible. If you received a decision and have clarification, contact us through the official channel with additional information.
Email a general description and reply contact to horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. Specific rehabilitation courses or enrolment must be confirmed separately. Do not send medical reports before agreeing the need and secure channel.
About the foundation
7 questionsLegal identity, contacts and cooperation.
The legal entity is INTERNATIONAL CHARITABLE FOUNDATION “ACTION HORIZON”, registration code 46238820. The Foundation’s Head is Denys Yuriiovych Rodin, who serves voluntarily without pay. The General Meeting of Members is its highest governing body; while there is one member, the founder makes its decisions individually. See Foundation information.
The Foundation was established by founder’s decision No. 1 dated 19 August 2026, which also approved its Charter. Its registration code is 46238820. Registered address: 10 Kropyvnytskoho Street, Pecherskyi District, Kyiv, 01024, Ukraine; the actual address is the same. See Foundation information.
Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with your skills, availability and reply contact. We will clarify current needs. Passport copies and unnecessary documents are not needed in the initial message.
Email a brief organisation description, proposal and reply contact to horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. We agree purposes, details, documents, name usage and public partnership announcements before cooperation starts.
The registered and actual address in Kyiv does not mean visitors can arrive without an appointment. Contact the Foundation and agree on a place and time before meeting or handing over items.
Phone: +380 75 683 93 28. Email: horizontdiy.help@gmail.com. Briefly describe your question and provide contact details for a reply. To check a donation, include its date, amount, transaction number and campaign code, if any. See Foundation information for legal and bank details.
First tell us what you can offer, its condition and location. We need to agree the need, handover, documents and logistics. Do not send parcels or equipment before acceptance is confirmed.
Security and data
6 questionsPayment details, personal information, cookie choices and fraud prevention.
Enter card details only on the WayForPay payment page on the wayforpay.com domain, which you reach from the official website horizontdiy.org. Check the page address, recipient, amount and currency. Until online payment is enabled, bank transfer to the official account is the primary method. The Foundation does not receive full card numbers and does not ask you to send CVV, PIN, banking passwords or verification codes in correspondence. Do not enter them on suspicious pages; HTTPS alone does not prove a fundraiser is authentic.
Depending on the interaction, we process technical logs, correspondence, an optional name, email and bank-transfer information. For online payments, we receive the order number, amount, status, date, payment method and a masked card number from WayForPay; the Foundation does not receive full card numbers or CVV. Email is required in the recurring-support form and optional for a one-off contribution; entering form data is not itself a payment. Analytics is used only after it is connected and you allow it. See the Privacy policy for categories, purposes, lawful bases and retention.
Necessary information may be processed by the hosting provider, the WayForPay payment service (ТОВ ФК «ВЕЙ ФОР ПЕЙ») for online payments, Google for Gmail, Brevo for service emails, the bank and authorised contractors. Google analytics is used only after it is connected and you allow it. The Privacy policy explains roles, international processing and safeguards. We do not sell information for third-party advertising.
Email horizontdiy.help@gmail.com with the subject “Personal data” and describe your request. We may need minimal information to verify your identity. Erasure depends on the lawful basis and retention duties. See the Privacy policy for Ukrainian-law deadlines, GDPR deadlines where applicable and how to object.
Check horizontdiy.org, the campaign page, recipient and EDRPOU 46238820. Online payment on the Foundation’s website is processed by WayForPay; go to it from the official website horizontdiy.org. Verify questionable accounts, contacts, payment links or requests through the official email before paying. A logo or an unknown person’s card does not establish Foundation approval.
