1. What cookies are
Cookies are small browser records. localStorage and other tools may perform similar functions; this policy covers them by purpose. The Privacy policy explains personal information and international processing.
2. Current tools and when choices apply
The website provides necessary tools for requested functions: internal / editorial previews, protected display of a management link and, where analytics is present, remembering cookie choices. They are not all set for every visitor. The page address determines language; no language cookie is used and there is no “Preferences” category.
GA4 / GTM are currently not configured. Without them there are no analytics cookies, banner, hd_cookie_consent record or “Cookie settings” link. Once analytics is configured, these appear together; Google Analytics does not load before permission.
The banner has equivalent “Accept” and “Reject” buttons, and “Customise”. Accept permits analytics; Reject leaves necessary tools only. Analytics in the dialog is off until allowed; merely closing it does not permit processing. Refusal does not prevent browsing, contacting us, an IBAN transfer or an online payment.

This is not a list of authorised advertising tools. GTM manages tags; new purposes or tools require a separate description and appropriate choices. GA4 is planned for 2-month user / event retention with reset on new activity disabled; this separate setting does not determine cookie lifetime or cover standard aggregated reports.
4. Changing or withdrawing choices
When analytics is configured, open “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page, untick “Allow analytics” and select “Save choices” or “Reject”. Refusal is recorded and accessible analytics cookies are removed. If GTM has loaded, the page reloads; afterwards it does not run without valid permission. Management pages, internal previews and editorial previews are excluded from analytics.
You can also clear browser cookies. An absent, expired or invalid choice means analytics is not permitted; with configured analytics, the banner asks again. Other browsers / devices have separate choices. Withdrawal does not make prior processing unlawful or automatically erase information already sent; use the privacy procedure for a request.
5. YouTube and external pages
The YouTube player loads after you click the video; its iframe is not connected beforehand. Once started, Google / YouTube may receive technical information and use its own storage under Google’s policy (opens in a new tab). This requests video playback and does not give blanket permission for Foundation analytics or optional advertising tracking. Do not start it if you do not want to connect video.
Online payment, once enabled, takes place on a separate page of the WayForPay payment service on the wayforpay.com domain. That service’s notices, cookies and settings apply there under its own rules. Our banner does not control them, and permission for Foundation analytics does not authorise tracking on another website. Refusing Foundation analytics does not prevent payment. If a payment component is ever embedded directly in our pages, we will add its actual cookies and storage to this policy before launch.
External pages of banks, other payment services and social media also have their own notices / choices. Our banner does not control their cookies. New embedded optional tracking on our website requires description and appropriate permission before launch.
6. Updates and contact
New versions are published with an effective date. Material changes to an optional purpose, category or recipient require a new choice. Contact: horizontdiy.help@gmail.com.
